Sears is “morally opposed” to the constitutional amendment protecting reproductive freedom
VIRGINIA – Winsome Earle-Sears must answer for her extreme record of attacking reproductive rights and her dangerous agenda to ban abortion in the Commonwealth.
Sears has still refused to answer questions after leaving a handwritten note that said she is “morally opposed” to the constitutional amendment that would protect reproductive freedom in Virginia, including contraception, abortion, and IVF. She has also vowed to do everything in her power to end abortion in Virginia.
“Winsome Earle-Sears has an extreme record attacking reproductive rights — from voting against the right to contraception to supporting an abortion ban with no exceptions for rape and incest. Sears needs to stop hiding and tell Virginians why she is dead set on banning abortion and against protecting access to contraception,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
